What East Meadow Homes Need
East Meadow is a classic mid-island Nassau community. The housing stock is predominantly single-family: ranches along Prospect Avenue and Merrick Avenue, split levels and hi-ranches in the Salisbury and Barnum Woods neighborhoods, and colonials on the larger lots near East Meadow High School and Eisenhower Park.
Walkable ranch roofs. Many East Meadow ranches have gentle 4/12 to 6/12 pitches that make them fast, efficient roofing jobs. A typical ranch replacement runs 1,400-1,800 sqft and finishes in 1.5-2 days.
